I lost 5 TB of data after accidentally formatting a secondary storage drive. WeRecoverData retrieved every single file that was on the drive. It cost me about 1200$ which I think 5TB of data is well worth it. Neil, the case manager, communicated with me via phone, text and email. He was able to answer all my questions and walked me through some of the steps.
To sum up the way this works (if you are in Montreal):
1) you drop off the drive at a drop off station, then the receptionist of that building sends the package via fedex to their lab in Ontario.
2) They run a test and tell you within 24-48 business hours if the data can be retrieved.
3) Once you give the go ahead, they retract the data, which 5-6 business days. Then they send you a zipfolder with an HTML link that shows you exactly what data was retrieved and how it is structured (usually the same as your own device)
4) Once you approve and make the payment, you get the choice of storing the data on their cloud vault for a reasonable fee (calculated per TB) or have the data stored on an external drive
5) if you request they send your original drive back with fedex tracking number.
I highly really recommend this service. It will save you if you lose all your data!
