FIMI / Xiaomi Drone Data Recovery
Recovery of FIMI and Xiaomi X8, Mini and enterprise imaging footage from the camera recording media, evaluated after the model year, version label and storage variant are confirmed.
20
models listed for evaluation
Recovery brief
Recovery brief
- Where data may reside
- Camera recording media on X8 and Mini aircraft by model year and storage variant; the precise camera variant on enterprise models; the fitted camera and recorder on airframe and VTOL configurations.
- What customers typically need
- Camera footage and stills from X8 and Mini aircraft, enterprise imaging captures, and recordings from legacy Xiaomi-lineage aircraft.
- The FIMI / Xiaomi constraint
- Model year, version label and storage variant are kept distinct, and a live feed does not establish a saved recording.
Media path
Where the data can live
Where a FIMI recording can sit. The exact version is identified from the aircraft label first.

Airframe and VTOL configurations
Before you send
What to submit
- The camera recording media
- The aircraft with its label visible, to confirm the version

Enterprise imaging
2
Identify the precise camera variant and actual recording medium.
All systems in this group:
X8 series

Process
How the case is handled
- 01
Identify where the requested data was recorded.
- 02
Inspect the media or device that holds it.
- 03
Report what data is recoverable.
- 04
Recovery proceeds only with your approval.
Questions
- Why do you need the aircraft label?
- FIMI and Xiaomi versions differ by model year, version label and storage variant, so we identify the exact version before evaluation.
- Can a live feed be recovered from an airframe or VTOL build?
- A live feed does not by itself create a saved recording. We first establish whether the fitted camera or recorder saved anything.
- Can deleted or formatted camera media be evaluated?
- Yes, on consumer aircraft. Stop using the media so the requested data is not overwritten.
Catalog checked against manufacturer documentation. Current and discontinued models located in manufacturer product/support documentation; bundles and cosmetic editions are grouped under the underlying aircraft. Listed models are supported for evaluation of available recording media and associated devices. Recovery depends on data location, media condition, encryption, and whether the requested data remains present.
Excluded or unverified: Controllers TX10/TX10A, PALM cameras, and standalone gimbals are not counted as drone models. Exact X6/Manta recording configurations require individual verification..
